Further classroom research to improve teaching quality

Wisconsin School Districts Alliance and Zhangjiagang Education Bureau officially started cooperation in 2014, and has been pacing together for nearly six years. The two sides have been actively deepening cooperation in running schools, course sharing, teacher exchanges, and student visits. The cooperation has achieved fruitful results. In addition to cooperating with Jiangsu Province Liangfeng High School, a well-known local high school, to establish the International Department, the alliance also provides selection, assignment and management of foreign teachers in many public primary and secondary schools in Zhangjiagang City.

In April 2014, Zhangjiagang Education Bureau and School District of Janesville signed a memorandum of education strategic cooperation.

In order to better understand the real classroom teaching situation of foreign teachers, every week the Alliance will specially arrange teachers to go to the city's cooperative primary and secondary schools to carry out foreign teacher classroom research work in order to comprehensively sort out the classroom teaching situation and promote the improvement of classroom teaching quality. Recently, the research team came to Jiyang Campus Primary School of Zhangjiagang to listen to the English class given by foreign teacher Peter.

Peter graduated from McGill University in Canada, referred to as McGill, which was founded in 1821 and is the oldest university in Canada. The school is located in Montreal, Canada's second largest city. It is a world-renowned top university. It has a high international reputation for a century, and its research level is world-renowned. It has the reputation of "Northern Harvard" or "Canada Harvard".

Peter has more than 7 years of English teaching experience. In his class, he can always connect English learning and real life. He uses "Starbucks", "Bank of China", "Agricultural Bank", "Rosen", "COCO" and other common places into the oral English class. It is not only increases students' interest in learning, enriches students' knowledge, but also allows students to develop good English learning habits and be good at discovering English elements around them.

Peter is also proficient in French and Chinese, and learning Chinese has taught him the difficulties of learning a foreign language. When encountering long words, Peter will teach students how to split syllables to facilitate the pronunciation and spelling. Throughout the class, Peter follows the principle that from easy to difficult and from word to sentence, also with different forms of class activities, so that students can learn and use English better.
