Director Wu Visited Nanjing Ke Rui Primary School

On December 13, Director Wu of China Representative Office of Wisconsin School Districts Alliance visited Nanjing Ke Rui Primary School. Headmaster Xia Jie warmly welcomed Director Wu, the two sides conducted in-depth communication on educational cooperation.

At the beginning of the meeting, Headmaster Xia Jie introduced the general situation of the school to Director Wu, including the school history, geographical location, traffic conditions, teaching facilities, etc.

Headmaster Xia Jie stated that as a Wisdom Campus demonstration school, Ke Rui Primary School attaches great importance to the all-round development of students. The school pays special attention to the cultivation of students' logical thinking and practical ability. It offers a variety of featured courses including STEM courses, small robot courses, and 3D printing courses. The students are also equipped with advanced learning equipment such as tablet computers and hand-painted tablets.

Later, Director Wu introduced the Wisconsin School Districts Alliance and its educational cooperation programs in China. Since 2013, the Wisconsin School Districts Alliance has started cooperation with education bureaus and schools in China, which had achieved rich results over the years and accumulated sufficient international education exchange experiences. Many Chinese and American schools have established deep friendship through teacher-student exchange visiting, teacher training and other activities. Both sides learn from each other, learn from each other, and make progress together. The alliance is also constantly seeking new cooperation, with a view to providing more Chinese and American students with rich international exchange opportunities and promoting their development.

Headmaster Xia Jie expressed strong interest in teacher-student exchanges, teacher training, and American Class Immersion.
