​The growth of children can not be separated from the cooperation between schools and families.Last Friday Zhangjiagang Liangfeng International School High School Department held a parents' meeting in order to develop the close relationship between schools and families, so that freshmen could adapt to the identity change more quickly and understand the high school life more comprehensively.This meeting enables parents to further understand school's educational philosophy and teaching methods, and truly realize the goal of family-school cooperation and all-person education.

China-Korea Class Introduction

Liangfeng International School High School Department this year adds China-Korea Class..South Korea Department President Cui gave a speech on details for students and parents.

China-Korea Class students will study Korean courses and IB’s high school required courses in China. Three years later, students will obtain the high school graduation certificate and the Korean TOPIK level examination certificate,and enter the first-class Korean undergraduate university.

IB Course Introduction

At the parents' meeting,teacher Zhang Xiaodan,deputy director of Liangfeng International School High School Department,introduced the IBDP courses’ details for students and parents.

Founded in 1968, the International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation that offers four highly regarded international education programmes designed to develop the intellectual, emotional and social skills which students need to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalized world.

There are DP preparatory courses for grade 10 , DP courses for grade 11 and grade 12 in the high school curriculum.

The IBDP course is a two-year program consisting of six subject groups and three core courses.For the DP preparatory course of grade 10, our school offers the following courses:

Liangfeng International School courses is student-centered.Based on students' curiosity on knowledeg and local& international issues, they focuses on team cooperation,which effectively evaluates students' learning outcomes.

After understanding the IBDP course, all the teachers in High school department gave a detailed explanation of the courses taught in this year, hoping that students could have a clearer understanding of their future plans in this year's study and broaden their international vision

Finally , teacher Ma, counselor of Liangfeng International School, gave suggestions on further education guidance.

According to the students' personality, ability, accomplishment and aspiration, further education guidance is to help students explore their career and study and have a clear positioning and planning on their future, so as to formulate a personalized path for further study.

Teacher. Ma put forward the points of the ideal further education planning for students and parents, helped students understand the key points of each stage, and hoped that students could start planning as soon as possible.

The outbreak of COVID-19 has greatly affected overseas study.However, the impact of the epidemic on overseas study is only temporary, and foreign higher education resources are still worthy of learning.What students need to do now is to study hard and keep a high level of competitiveness so that they can have more choices.Hope students could fight for dreams in future study.
