American Class Immersion for Nanjing Lasa Road Primary School(Ⅰ)

The students from the research study group of Nanjing Lasa Road Primary School are studying in Kennedy Elementary School in Janesville. A variety of courses and free and inclusive classroom atmosphere made students enjoy every minute in class.

Friendship Begins with a Beautiful Encounter

It still remember the first time Chinese students arrived at Kennedy Elementary School. The American teachers and students gave them a warm welcome. The smiley face was mixed with shyness. The seeds of friendship may have quietly sprouted at that time.

Soon, the students became familiar with the American students and were able to talk easily and share their stories with each other.

The Chinese and American students attended classes together. They helped each other and swam in the ocean of knowledge together.

At the welcoming ceremony, Lasa Road Primary School presented calligraphy works to Kennedy Elementary School, and the friendship between the two schools began to become more profound at that time.

Teachers from Lasa Road Primary School and Kennedy Elementary School exchanged discussions on teaching methods. Chinese teachers also taught Chinese characteristics courses for American students.

Mr. Shao is giving a sudoku lesson.

Ms. Liu is teaching the American students to make kites.

In the handicraft class, the Chinese teacher taught the students how to make kites step by step. The American students looked at the small kites they made and their bright smiles burst into bloom.

Ms. Ye is teaching the students to make lanterns.

Mr. Wu, headmaster of Lasa Road Primary School, personally taught the students to make Mid-Autumn Festival ornaments with Chinese characteristics. Exquisite ornaments made American students feel strange, and everyone followed the teachers carefully.

Experience of American Classroom

At Kennedy Elementary School, the students experienced an authentic American class. From the eclectic posture of the students, it could be seen how open and inclusive the classroom atmosphere was.

The students ran to the fullest in the PE class and basketball gave the boys simple happiness.

The Exploration Trip

In addition to studying in class, students also went to Wisconsin State Capitol and Wisconsin Historical Museum to study.

Through the tour, the students learned about the history of Wisconsin and Wisconsin State Capitol, the style of American architecture, and experienced many interesting projects. They integrated study and tour.

Students of Nanjing Lasa Road Primary School had colorful research activities every day. They not only contacted with American culture, but also acted as little ambassadors for cultural exchanges between China and the United States, spreading excellent traditional Chinese culture! We believe this trip will be remembered by every student.
