History: Founded in 1904, located in the south of Henghe and in the west of Gudu, Zhang Jiagang Experimental Primary School is one of China's first modern primary schools. It was first founded as Fan Xian Elementary School by the fellow Miao Lunjun in Wen Chang Palace, Yang She Town.

School size: With a total area of 83,375 square meters and the construction area of 50,878 square meters, it is equipped with 55 specialized classrooms for Computer teaching, Science, the work class, Art, Music, Dancing and other 120 classrooms. At present, it has three campuses in east, south and north with 114 classes, 5130 students, and 332 teaching staff. It is one of the largest public Experimental Primary Schools in Jiangsu Province and is also a famous school with a history of hundreds of years.
