The School District of Marshfield, a unified school district with an annual operating budget of 54 million dollars, serves slightly over 4000 students. The district employs 262 teachers, 19 administrators and 158 support personnel.

There are 5 elementary schools in this school districts: Madison Elementary school, Grant Elementary School, Lincoln Elementary School, Nasonville Elementray school and Washington Elementary School. Besides, Marshfield Middle School and Marshfield High School are also located in this school district. Marshfield offers courses for a comprehensive university preparatory class in Grade12.
