University of Chicago

The University of Chicago (UChicago) is one of the world's top private research universities, ranking in the top 10 of the world's universities year-round. The university gave birth to the Chicago School of Economics and many other well-known Chicago schools, founded legal economics, and is a world-class academic town of economics, law and other social science disciplines; and from the Manhattan Project, a large number of scientists gathered here, under the leadership of the "father of atomic energy" Enrico Fermi and others built the world's first nuclear reactor (Chicago One), began the era of human atomic energy, and founded the first national laboratory in the United States, Argonne National Laboratory and the famous Fermi Laboratory, laid down the importance of Chi University in the natural science community.

Founded in 1764, Brown University is the 7th oldest university in the United States and is located in Providence, Rhode Island's capital city. It is a world-renowned top private research university, a member of eight Ivy Leagues and a member of the Association of American Universities, the top academic union in North America.

Competition for admission to Brown University is fierce, especially for undergraduate and doctoral students, and it is one of the most difficult universities in the nation to admit. In today's growing university environment, Brown University still maintains a "small but elite" elite education, with only 6,000 undergraduate students, 2,000 graduate students and 700 full-time faculty, but with such a small number of students and faculty, seven Nobel Prize winners were born.

 

Cornell University

Cornell University, located in Ithaca, New York, USA, is one of the world's top private research universities (with two additional campuses in New York City and Qatar Education City), one of the fourteen founding institutions of the Association of American Universities, and one of eight members of the prestigious Ivy League schools.

Cornell University is a public-private partnership university that began with the College of Agriculture and Engineering, and its School of Hotel Management and School of Industrial and Labor Relations are the first in the nation. Cornell majors include agriculture, veterinary medicine, engineering, computer science, labor relations, arts and sciences, economics, architecture, urban planning, education, business, media, and hospitality. The University of Southern California (USC) is the oldest leading private research university on the West Coast of the United States, located in Los Angeles, California.

USC is ranked among the top 10 colleges in the nation, with the School of Film No. 1, School of Journalism and Communication No. 1, School of Public Policy No. 2, School of Architecture No. 5, and School of Engineering No. 8.

In addition to Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University has campuses in Silicon Valley and Qatar, and its collaborative research facilities are located around the world, including New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., China, Australia, Portugal, Rwanda and more.

Founded in 1900 by industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie as the Carnegie Institution of Technology, CMU was renamed Carnegie Mellon University in 1912 and began its transformation into a major research-oriented university in the United States. As of March 2019, the school has produced 13 Turing Awards, 20 Nobel Prizes, 9 Academy Awards, 114 Emmy Awards, and 44 Tony Awards.
