University of California, Davis was built in 1905, one of the ten campuses of University of California and its one of the Tier-1's top public universities in the United States. The school occupies approximately 7,309 acres which is the most extensive campus of University of California. The school uses the Quarter system, which is a three-semester one-year program with 11 weeks per semester. Apart from the research facilities and academic standards that are the highest among California and even in the United States, the school’s diverse sports facilities and diversified student organizations are also well-known.

UC Davis is the one of the members of 63 American Universities Association, which stands for the most top academic level in the United States. According to the record of National Science Foundation, UC Davis invested $7.513 billion in the science research and development in 2014. School occupies many science and research centers and laboratories, among them, UC Davis is the only campus in the university of California that has a nuclear laboratory except UC Berkeley. UC Davis is the world center for biological agriculture and environmental science and education.
